公務員になりたいと思い始めたのは高校2年生のとき。その翌年に、公務員試験を受験するも結果は不合格。高校卒業後、再チャレンジに向けて、最短で公務員試験合格を目指す中京法律専門学校の1年コースに入学しました。公務員試験対策として重点的に学んだのは、試験の出題で3～4割を占める数的処理と政治経済の授業、そして面接対策の講座の3つ。数的処理では絵や図でわかりやすく解説してもらうことで、式が書けない自分でも解けるようになりました。面接講座では表情管理や話すスピードや言葉の強弱を指導いただき、また面接シートの文章も細かく添削してもらうことで、短時間で想像以上のレベルアップが図れたと実感。その成果は、入学から約半年後に実施した公務員試験の結果に表れました。
